This training course is specifically designed for users and activists who are active on the internet and are at risk of government hacking by the Islamic Republic due to the nature of their activities.
This course can serve as a starting point for raising public awareness and attracting the attention of activists, human rights defenders, and protesters to the malicious attacks carried out by the Islamic Republic of Iran and other authoritarian actors against users and citizens advocating for change.
In this course, our main focus will be on various types of cyber attacks carried out by governments, institutions, or hackers supported by governmental authorities. Throughout the course, we will discuss several examples of real hacking operations targeting journalists, researchers, and civil society activists, and highlight strategies and techniques that can help minimize the damage caused by government cyber attacks and resist them.
By the end of this course, you will be able to better protect yourself and your activities in the digital space from potential attacks by government-affiliated entities.
