Poster_Book_Fb_women%27s-rights_0_0

This compilation of selected Tavaana case studies covers civic movements pursuing the rights of women the world over. These exclusive case studies are designed to offer an Iranian audience concise but comprehensive introductions to feminist movements in a number of countries. Among the subjects included here are the American feminist movement for women’s equality of the 1960s and 1970s and the One Million Signatures campaign against discriminatory laws in Iran. This volume also covers the efforts of Malaysia’s Sisters in Islam to use varying interpretations of the Qur’an and Islamic law in support of women’s rights, and more.

NOTE: Many of the case studies included in this compilation deal with active movements and ongoing events. Updates and additions will be made as future volumes are released
