This session is devoted to examining the arguments for and against democracy and will enumerate the main arguments of these two camps. We will analyze the characteristics of liberal democracy, noting that it is the most accepted form of democracy. The session will also explore why, despite practical difficulties, democracy is still the most desirable form of government. We will compare this form of government and its characteristics with other forms of government and conclude that despite obstacles and difficulties, the problems of democracy are fairly insignificant and democracy is the most optimal solution.
