NGO Management: Institution Building, Proposal Writing, Project Management, Teamwork and More

Designed for Iranians who either direct an NGO or manage NGO projects, this Tavaana course covers key aspects of building sound admin/finance/security/operations systems, project design and implementation, proposal writing and donor reporting, team building and management of virtual teams, as well as topics such as ethics and leadership, creating partnerships, project monitoring and evaluation, and NGO sustainability. Participants learn the necessary skills for proposal writing, including effective budgeting and presentation of project strategy via results-oriented log frames as many donors require. All topics are considered in context of Iran’s civic environment and the related security constraints and protection issues, including for virtual initiatives managed outside the country. Participants should be familiar with key management terms in English.
