Foad was shot and injured by the regime’s agents in Divandarreh on 17 September. He lost his life three days later in the hospital. Video footage shows agents shooting at people from a close distance. Ford’s 9-year-old son, Kavan, reads a piece for his father: “I use to love the fall. But not this one, for I have lost my gather this year”.
Ford’s Chehelom was held on 28 October, among a large crowd of Divandarreh people. Citizens chanted “Death to the dictator” in the ceremony.
