Navid, 23, was studying anesthesiology at the Varamin University of Medical Science in Iran. He was killed by the regime’s oppression forces on 24 October 2022 in Tehran.
Navid was from Gonbade Kavus. Under pressure, his family announced his death was due to a ‘car accident’.
Some sources say he lost his life under torture in detention.
“Navid’s family was under threat and pressure and had to beg authorities to take his body,” said a credible source.
Eventually, Navid was discreetly buried in the village of Khortum, Turkmen Sahra.
“If I remain silent about Navid, I betrayed my people, the Turkmens. Young people perishing is not a sign of [regime’s] virtue,” said Iranian Turkmen national football player Sardar Azmoun.
