Nima Noori was 18 and the only child to his parents. He was shot in the chest and thigh on 3 November 2022 in Khorramdasht, Karaj. Nima was participating in a protest rally on the street on the day of Hadis Najafi’s Chehclom ceremony. He had sent a message to the ‘1500 Tasvir’ (1500 Pictures) account, saying he was ready to sacrifice his life for his purpose. The authorities kept Nima’s body hostage for a long time and refused to give it to his family. “I was killed for freedom, so promise to live free,” is written on his gravestone. Chanting his name, Nima’s parents released doves at his Chehelom.
