Mohamad, 17, was the Dezful Amin football club goalkeeper. He was shot dead by the government’s agents on 22 October 2022 and went into a coma. He lost his life on 6 November in the hospital. A close source said he had 40 pellets in his cranium and neck. The agents prevented people from helping Mohammad by closing the entrance to the alley in which the attack happened, the source added. Mohammad’s family had to be silent about his situation under the oppression forces pressure when he was in a coma in the hospital. His family was forced to claim him as a Basiji (regime paramilitary force member) to get his body after his death. Because of the pressure from the authorities, Mohammad was discreetly buried in Dezful. His Chehclom (mourning ceremony) was held under strict government surveillance in Dezful on 8 December. “It is not the time to mourn, it is a time for rage,” People chanted in his Chehelom.
